You may book a session under the following circumstances ONLY: - Please stay home if you have been sick or have had ANY of the following symptoms (sore throat, cough, fever) in the past *two weeks*, stay home if you have been in contact with or taking care of someone who is sick over the past *two weeks* - please wash your hands immediately upon entering the gym, please wear a mask to protect yourself and others. - If you have recently tested positive for Covid, or have been sick, it is preferred you wait at least 1 month after your symptoms have passed to schedule. - If you have just returned from travel on a plane, it is preferred you wait at least 2-3 weeks, and if then you have no symptoms, then schedule. - If you have recently attended a large gathering, it is preferred you wait 3 weeks without symptoms to schedule anything. - I maintain the right to refuse service to anyone I do not feel comfortable working with. My primary concern is health and wellbeing of my clients, my community and myself. I take this responsibility very seriously.
*If you need to cancel an appointment due to the reasons above, please let me know as soon as possible. Late Cancellations in regards to Covid safety will be excused, however if you know several days in advance of your appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice of the cancellation.

Personal training and Physical therapy sessions with Katie are safe, effective and fun. If you have had a recent surgery, significant injuries or limitations that you want to overcome, you have come to the right place. With over a decade of experience as an orthopedic physical therapist & personal trainer, Katie is adept at pinpointing weaknesses, imbalances and is able to stabilize and strengthen your body without hurting you! You will feel better right away and achieve your goals safely.
Workouts and PT sessions are tailored for you, based on your own personal goals, using specific exercises that will help you move and function better in your daily life & recreational activities. Strength, balance, stability, flexibility, proprioception and cardio are some of what you will experience in each session.
* Why is a single session of personal training not available? When guiding someone through a proper strengthening program, I have a responsibility to ensure my clients know how to perform the exercises that challenge them correctly and without pain. Your workout routines will vary, change and progress over time and consistency is the key to creating positive, influential change. One session or one 30-60 minute exercise program repeatedly performed over and over will not achieve this properly or efficiently and may lead to imbalance or repetitive stress injuries.
INSURANCE & Insurance REIMBURSEMENT
Insurance's that are accepted:Med-pay (Auto) Your doctor's prescription "for physical therapy" might be required to bill your insurance. Bring the prescription to your first visit. Out of network insurances: If you have a prescription from your doctor for Physical therapy, you may be able to get reimbursed for your sessions by submitting an itemized bill to your insurance. We can provide you with the billing codes and the itemized receipts for this purpose. It is recommended you *check with your insurance first*, let them know you will be getting PT with a provider that is not in their network and find out if your sessions are reimbursable with an itemized bill. *Please notify us of this at the start of your treatments*. There will be an extra fee for each time you request billing and/or medical notes for your insurance carrier. This fee is $50 per request. This is separate from the cost of your treatment sessions. You can save money by requesting the notes in bulk after several or all of your sessions have been completed.
