Have you been Injured in an Automotive or Work Accident?

We accept Med-Pay (Auto-Insurance) and Worker's Comp for Therapeutic Massage and Physical Therapy!

After involvement in an auto accident, you may be experiencing symptoms such as headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, jaw/TMJ, face, ear pain, and/or back pain. This is due to the over stretching and mirco-tearing of the stabilizing muscles and ligaments of your neck.   Physical Therapy + Medical massage can help you feel better and is  the ticket to long lasting, permanent relief. Manual therapy to ease pain + realign the body coupled with strengthening the stabilizer muscles that support your back + neck are imperative for complete healing. With a prescription from your doctor for physical therapy you will be covered for massage and strengthening back to yourself after an accident.

Many people do not know that everyone's car insurance in the State of Colorado includes a minimum coverage of $5,000 (Med-Pay) towards your healthcare + the healthcare of anyone in the car at the time of the auto accident. Using this coverage does NOT make your insurance go up.

If you have been in a recent car accident, your medical massage costs and/or physical therapy sessions are covered by your auto insurance/Med-Pay up to the allotted amount. You can call + ask your adjuster how much is available. This is recommended. It is also recommended to have a doctor or chiropractor managing your case. If you need a referral to a great doctor or a great chiropractor, please ask!

More About Med-Pay

Med-Pay is used to pay for medical care and treatments following an auto accident for BOTH for the policy holder AND any other occupants in that vehicle.
Colorado law states that every Colorado driver will be offered at least $5,000.00 of Med-Pay for all cars insured after January 1, 2009. As long as you have not taken action to decline this coverage, you already have it! Using your Med-pay coverage will NOT make your car insurance rates go up.

After any emergency services you received after your car accident have been covered, the remaining balance of your unclaimed medical proceeds (Med-pay) can be used to pay for medial massage and/or physical therapy.
Please note, Medpay does not reimburse for appointments longer than 60 mins. So if you are booking an online appointment, choose the 60 min appointment. If you would like to pay out of pocket for the extra time (75 or 90 mins), feel free to book a longer session.

Please fill out the Medpay form below and bring it with you to your appointment.
Please call the office at 720-772-8167 if you are unsure what you will need to bring with you to get started.
You will need to download the form below + bring it to your first visit.  Once you have made a claim with your insurance company regarding your accident, you will be assigned a case adjuster as well as a claim number.  You will need to bring this information to your appointment.

 Important Information about Med-Pay
The balance available on your Med-Pay account is found by requesting it from your assigned adjuster at your car insurance company.
You can ensure the coverage of your treatments by asking your adjuster. This is recommended b/c if you have used all of your medpay with another provider and your insurance company will no longer cover the costs of treatments, you will be responsible for the cost of all the sessions you received that were not covered. As the provider, we are unable to check your balance, but you can check it any time.

Liens
Higher Health may work with liens on a case by case basis only.   A lien is a loan against your auto-accident litigation settlement and allows you to continue on with your treatment plan with no out-of-pocket expense to you.  If your Med-pay insurance has run out and you are still in need of medical care for injuries sustained during a motor vehicle accident, it is possible we can work with you and your attorney to arrange this. There are forms that will need to be filled out. Please call to inquire.

Worker's Compensation

If you have been injured on the job, we can help you recover!
We will work with you and your doctor to get you back to health and back to work.
You will need a prescription from your work comp doctor. Ask your doctor for a prescription "for medical massage and/or physical therapy". You can bring it in with you to your appointment or your doctor can fax it to 713-913-0946 or email it to Boulderhigherhealth@gmail.com.

Workers Comp * Pre-approval *
Before your first visit, we will need to verify with your adjuster that your PT or massage treatments will be covered.
Please call the office to set up your appointment. When you call, have your case worker/adjuster's name and contact info so we may verify your coverage. We can schedule your first appointment, once we have verification approval from your work comp case manager.
