MedPay
Auto Insurance Covered Massage or PT

We accept Med-Pay (Auto-Insurance) for Medical Massage and Physical Therapy!

After involvement in an auto accident, you may be experiencing symptoms such as headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, jaw/TMJ, face, ear pain, and/or back pain. This is due to the over stretching and mirco-tearing of the stabilizing muscles and ligaments of your neck.   Physical Therapy + Medical massage can help you feel better and is  the ticket to long lasting, permanent relief. Manual therapy is vital for easing pain and helps to realign the tissues of the body, receiving this skilled manual care coupled with strengthening the stabilizer muscles that support your back and neck are imperative for complete healing. Your insurance may require your doctors prescription for PT and/or massage.

Many people do not know that everyone's car insurance in the State of Colorado includes a minimum coverage of $5,000 (Med-Pay) towards your healthcare and the healthcare of anyone that was in the car at the time of the auto accident. Using this coverage does NOT make your insurance go up.

If you have been in a recent car accident, your medical massage costs and/or physical therapy sessions are covered by your auto insurance, also known as "MedPay" up to the allotted amount. You can call + ask your adjuster how much is available.

More About MedPay

MedPay is used to pay for medical care and treatments following an auto accident for BOTH for the policy holder AND any other occupants in that vehicle.
Colorado law states that every Colorado driver will be offered at least $5,000.00 of Med-Pay for all cars insured after January 1, 2009. As long as you have not taken action to decline this coverage, you already have it! Using your Med-pay coverage will NOT make your car insurance rates go up.

After any emergency services you received after your car accident have been covered, the remaining balance of your unclaimed medical proceeds (MedPay Auto Insurance) can be used to pay for medical massage and/or physical therapy.
Please note, MedPay does not reimburse for appointments longer than 60 mins. So if you are booking an online appointment, choose the 60 min appointment. If you would like to pay out of pocket for the extra time (75 or 90 mins), feel free to book a longer session.

Please fill out the MedPay form below and bring it with you to your appointment.
Please call the office at 720-772-8167 if you are unsure what you will need to bring with you to get started.
You will need to download the form below and bring it to your first visit, along with the regular intake form (found under the massage tab).  Once you have made a claim with your insurance company regarding your accident, you will be assigned a case adjuster as well as a claim number.  You will need to bring this information to your appointment with all of your adjusters contact info (phone number, fax number and mailing address).
We will do the rest!

Important Information about MedPay

The balance available on your Med-Pay account is found by requesting it from your assigned adjuster at your car insurance company.
You can ensure the coverage of your treatments by asking your adjuster. This is recommended b/c if you have used all of your medpay with another provider and your insurance company will no longer cover the costs of treatments, you will be responsible for the cost of all the sessions you received that were not covered. As the provider, we are unable to check your balance, but you can check it any time.

*Please understand it takes extra time and costs my business more money to accept your medpay insurance. Taking insurance requires fees for a medical biller, a fax service, and the time it takes to do the extra paperwork required by the insurance company after your session is complete.  It takes a month (or more) to receive a payment from your insurance company for each visit. Due to these reasons,  your insurance is billed appropriately at a higher rate than the regular massage sessions where the extra work and extra business costs are not required.
If your insurance denies the claim and you need to pay the outstanding balance, as a courtesy, these extra fees will be waived. The session will be billed to you as the cost of a regular one hour massage found under the massage tab on this website.
